Services - Acupuncture Consultation

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the practice of inserting fine disposable needles into specific acupoints on the skin to stimulate the movement of Qi or Chi (life force energy) through the body’s meridian channels. It has been practised in China for over 5000 years and plays a major part in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is often used to alleviate a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal pain, low energy levels, infertility, headaches or migraines, addictions and compromised immune systems. As the needles are very fine, pain is not normally felt by the patient, but rather a moderate tingling sensation.

At Natureco – An Acupuncture consultation involves a brief Traditional Chinese Medicine consult followed by the Acupuncture session and nutritional/lifestyle advice. Often chinese herbs or supplements are prescribed by the practitioner to assist the healing process.
